Introduction:
Natural and many human-made
sources generate electromagnetic energy in the form of
electromagnetic waves. These waves consist of oscillating electric
and magnetic fields which interact differently with biological
systems such as cells, plants, animals, or human beings.
Current research indicates a
variance of opinions and research coming from different people.
For the most part, people claim that EMF radiation is an
environmental hazard and is a concern for everyone, for it is
often linked to cancer related syndromes and leukemia. Other
research has said that this is misleading and although EMF does
affect people, (through the human's natural melatonin) the impact
is not very great . There is great controversy on EMF and its
effects on humans.
