Effect of oxygen in the rate of burning

  Introduction:
About one fifth of air is oxygen. What would happen to the rate of burning if we had more or less oxygen in the air?

A candle, gas stove, automobile and many other systems that burn some kind of fuel, also consume oxygen from the air.

If we had more oxygen in the air, Would the candles burn faster or brighter? Would cars drive faster? or Would food cook faster on a gas stove?
 

 Project description:
The rate of burning of any fuel with different amounts of oxygen can be measured by the amount of fuel consumption in a certain period of time. This is a research and experimental project that can be completed in a few days. You may optionally design additional experiments to measure the rate of oxygen in the air or produce some oxygen.

Perform your experiments, report the results and use your experiment setup as a part of your display.
