Are Some Substances More Soluble Than Others?

Introduction:

Table salt, sugar, baking soda, Epsom Salt and many other chemicals are water soluble; but do they have different rates of solubility at the same physical conditions?

Is it possible that at the same temperature such as room temperature, one may dissolve faster, easier or at a higher rate than the others?

 Project description:
Gather a few samples of solid water soluble chemicals and test them for the rate of solubility at room temperature. Record the results in a table. Draw graphs and charts to show the differences (if any).
