A Solar System |
|
|
|
Introduction:
Make a Solar System Model to demonstrate Sun and Nine planets
orbiting around it. Paint your planets as close as possible to
the images that you can find in the books or the internet. Prepare
your display with information about the size, the orbit and speed
of each planet.
To make your project more advanced, try to make a scaled model
of the Solar System and demonstrate it in a football field. |

Material and step by step instructions
You may purchase white balls, made from hard foam and connect
them to each other using metal or wooden rods. You will also
need some water based paints to paint your sun and planets. To
connect your planets use black rods or paint them black and put
your final model against a black background. There are Kits available
for solar system that include hard foam balls and black rods
and instructions. A Solar
System Kit can be purchased from www.MiniScience.com or KidsLoveKits
online store at www.klk.com. |
