Working of

Introduction
The telegraph was the only long
distance instant communication device until radio and other means
came along. An
electric signal, later converted to sound or marks on a paper was
the base for such communication. Skilled telegraph operators have
done this for many years. |

Material and instructions
In this project you will see how a telegraph works. You will
learn about Morse code and how it is generated and interpreted. As a
part of the experiments for this project, you may also want to make a simple
working model of a telegraph set. |
