| Introduction:
Genetic studies identify
the effect of a gene on the properties and characteristics of any
organism. We may do genetic studies on humans, animals, plants and
even bacteria. Every genetic study will focus on a different
characteristic of the subject. A connection between hair and eye
color is among genetic studies that can be performed on humans and
can be conducted by Intermediate or senior students. The general
purpose of doing these experiments is to understand the effect of
a gene on certain characteristics of humans and compare it with
other environmental factors that may have a similar effect. |

Project
description
This is a survey, followed by Analyzing, Interpreting and Reporting
Results.
In this project you will collect and compile information related to hair and eye color on
a certain group that you choose. You will then
analyze this data and draw a conclusion based on your observation of
compiled information. |
