Field Studies -types of bacteria found on the body.
Introduction:

Bacteria are often known as the causes of human and animal disease. However, not all bacteria are pathogens.

Bacteria put the tang in yogurt and the sour in sourdough bread; bacteria help to break down dead organic matter; bacteria make up the base of the food web in many environments.

Do bacteria also live in our body? Does every part of our body have it's own type of bacteria?

 Project description:
In this project you will study the bacteria found on your body. Your study includes collecting and growing bacteria in order to identify their properties. You will observe the color of bacteria and their colony shape.
 Details of this project:
More details or support on this project is available for the members of ScienceProject.com. Petri-dishes and Agar needed for experiments are included in the Bacteria Growth Kit of  MiniScience.com; however, you may prefer to purchase ready made nutrient agar plates from other online suppliers.
