Is there any
relation between blood pressure and the rate of heartbeat? |
|
|
|
Introduction:
The heart pumps and circulates blood in different parts of our body. The pumping action of
the heart has two properties that can be measured externally.
These two factors are the heart rate and blood
pressure. Both blood pressure and the heart rate are
affected by different factors. Doctors use blood pressure and the
heart rate to determine the status of our health. |
 |
In a regular pump, higher speed of
pumping results higher pressure of water. Is it the same about the
heart? Does blood pressure increase by increasing the heart rate? |

Project
description:
In this project you will investigate to determine if blood pressure
is affected by the heart rate. Perform an experiment to test the
relation between the heart rate and blood pressure. Record your
observations in a data table and use it to draw a graph. |
