Wind
What are the common wind patterns in your area and why?
 Introduction:
Learning about wind patterns allows us to forecast changing weather conditions and it allows us to be prepared and safe. Every year thousands of people get stranded and die in the oceans, mountains and other unprotected areas because they fail to identify the indications of a harsh weather conditions. The wind project is among good meteorology related science projects that can help students understand some weather conditions.

 Project description:
In this project you will first gather some information and then build weather instruments that you need in order to monitor wind speed and direction. You will then use such instruments to observe and record data. Finally you will use your recorded data to draw a conclusion.
The rain gauge, thermometer and hygrometer you may need with your earth science experiments are available at MiniScience.com online store.
