One of the
geographical information that we often see or hear about of
towns is their elevation. Elevation is one of the factors that
determines the climate of an area. Some cities are actually
known by their elevation. For example, Denver, Colorado is known
as the Mile-High City because it is a mile above sea level. For
cities and mountains that are close to the ocean, elevation can
be measured using general measurement tools and some
calculations, but what if the location is many miles away from
