A Penny's Worth of Hydrogen

Introduction:

Some acids and metals can react with each other and produce gasses such as hydrogen and salts such as sulfates and chlorides.

Reaction of acids and metals can lead to production of new chemicals and can provide us detail information about the chemical properties of acids and metals.

 Project description:
In this project we attempt to produce hydrogen using the reaction between an acid and a metal. We may also test to see what percentage of a penny is copper.  While doing this experiment you may also make a hollow penny.
