The Effect of Concentration on the Rate of a Reaction

Introduction:
In most chemical reactions we need to control the rate of reaction. There are different reasons for such control. Sometimes you do it in order to prevent a violent or explosive reaction. In other cases you may want to control the rate of reaction to maintain a consistency and quality in a product. No mater what your reason is, you will need to know about all possible factors that may affect the rate of reaction and each of these factors can be the subject of a science project.
 
 Project description:
In this project you will study the effect of concentration on the rate of reaction for a chemical reaction of your choice. It is often thought that higher concentrations result in a higher rate of reaction and this can be a good hypothesis for beginners. Such research can be performed on a large variety of chemical reactions such as the reaction of Sodium thiosulfate and Hydrochloric acid or a reaction of sulfuric acid and iron.
