Production of
electrical energy
from mechanical sources |
|
|
|
Introduction:
Mechanical energy from nature
such as wind and water currents and waves can be converted to
electrical energy. Mechanical energy will first be transmitted to
an electric generator via shafts and gears. The electric generator
will then produce electricity. |

Project
description:
In this project you will study
different methods used to convert the mechanical energy to electrical
energy. You may also study the factors that affect the efficiency of
such conversions. You will also make an electric generator. |
